Inside Sales Engineer -- Posted 04-12-2010

Immediate part-time (24 hrs per week) opening for an Inside Sales Engineer.
Duties include: qualifying leads from vendors; support existing
account base; schedule appointments; coordinate, execute and
follow up mass mailing; prepare quotes for components and
systems for machine vision and image processing. Position
requires some technical knowledge of computers and electronic
hardware. Some experience helpful but not required in selling
frame grabbers, cameras, lenses, lighting, photography equipment,
computer systems, video, monitors cables and automation systems
integration; Training will be provided. Also candidates should have experience with Windows
XP, Act! Contact manager, Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel. All candidates
must have a BS or BA with sales experience. They must
also be creative, self motivated and able to work within a
small company. $15 hourly wage plus performance bonus. Applicants MUST live within a 20 mile drive of Roswell GA and
applicants must be available to work during regular office hours M-F, 9 AM - 5 PM.
Applicants must be comfortable with making lots of daily phone calls and capable of entering sales efforts results into a database.
This is an entry level position but there is a
possibility of advancement to an outside sale position within 12 -24 months.

Computer Generalist -- 04-13-2010
|
Immediate full-time opening for Computer Generalist. This position requires extensive technical knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Training will be provided regarding a better understanding of frame grabbers, cameras,
lenses, lighting, photography equipment, video monitors, cables and other machine vision components.
This position involves extensive customer interaction and requires a friendly, customer service personality.
Duties include:
- Frontline technical support of existing and prospective customers. More specifically it require simple answers to support questions.
These support issues range from connecting cameras, selecting proper lenses, selecting cameras and frame grabbers, installing cameras and frame grabbers,
loading software applications, loading drivers and using software development tools. Some C++ experience would be helpful.
- Internal IT support. This requires first line response to internal IT issues such as loading drivers, setting up application accounts,
checking server status, installing new office equipment. Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server, Exchange Server, Microsoft Office, Act, Sharepoint and a basic understanding of firewalls is required.
- Technical Researcher. This task requires extensive on-line research of machine vision engineering topics to support our system's integration projects.
- Design Assistant Technician. We will provide training on Design Assistant which is an icon driven machine vision programming tool for smart cameras.
Familiarity with PLCs is helpful but not necessary.
- Internal website adminstrator. Some knowledge of HTML, JAVA, PHP is prefered.
- Basic computer integration. This task involved the assembly of computers and the installation and testing of their
various hardware and software components. Training will be provided but applicant must be very comfortable with an open PC.
-Applicants must be citizens of the USA.
All candidates must have extensive experience working with computers. Microsoft Certification would be a plus but no necessary. Candidates must
be creative, quick to learn, self motivated and able to work within a small company. Starting salary $42K/yr. Applicants MUST live within a 20 mile drive of Roswell GA and
applicants must be available to work during regular office hours M-F, 9 AM - 5 PM.
This is an entry level position but there is a possibility of advancement within 12 -24 months.
